Reminded me so much of Rose's expression in Tooth & Claw when she saw the werewolf eat the captain -- fear and unwilling fascination.

Yes, that's it exactly--she can't really believe what's happening, and she's transfixed, unable to move and fascinated.

And poor Rose... years passed in her time then, years and years and she's the only one left.
