Oo, another chapter! I was very glad to see an update!
I was glad to see a well-thought-out "morning after" conersation that didn't involve someone getting weirded out or avoiding potentially awkward conversation points! Refreshing, but hey, both Rose and Jack have been there and know what to avoid, don't they, especially as both seem to see this as a relationship with long-term potential. :)
Poor Ianto! I adore him. He handled the situation well, and had some good points with Jack, which Jack was savvy enough to recognise. Ianto's a "need to be needed" person, so I hope he can find a special someone to devote himself to romantically. He handled the proof that Jack has "moved on" well, but it's still probably hard to deal with, with it "in your face" like that.
Love Rose's quip about weapons qualifications! I hope we get a chance to see her wow the Torchwood team, because really, who else is she qualified to work for (UNIT, maybe)? Still, a potentially tricky situation, grossly qualified or not, to be the boss's lover with one of his ex-lovers on the staff as well. Better for Jack to clear the air with the rest of the team and let everyone be brutally honest so there are no misunderstandings or resentments lingering.
