I kept going, "But Abbadon was the *son* of the Beast! Not the Beast!" And then Rose verbally bitchslapped Owen about it, and all was right in my world again.
And the ending... oh, the ending. The *plot*. I can read good Rose/Jack forever without needing any kind of real external plot, but this, man, this just makes everything better. Not only looping in the Beast and Abbadon, but also giving plot to the Weevils, who were extremely prevalent in the first season but didn't really seem to get much of a plot a lot of the time, I thought. Until the whole Owen-potentially-infected thing, which I wanted to see played out... but anyway, the parallel of the Weevils and the Ood was fantastic, and I can't wait to see where you're going with this.
