I'm glad you think it all played out logically--that's always my biggest worry. I always wondered why Jack allowed those folks to work for him, as badly as they screw up on a regular basis, and this was the best reason I could come up with. :)

And yes, he definitely deserved that "shut up already!" kiss. Been waiting to write that. ;)
