A two-year blanket wipe plus a more specific wipe that targeted specific things, like name, family, etc., but left other things intact--things that caused pain, guilt, fear, regret... all the emotions that would make one want to run, with none of the pleasant memories to go along with it.

In other words, the cruelest mind-wipe out there.

Now, what Karen had to do with it, if anything, remains to be seen... ;)
