Summary: Animal training, Torchwood style.

Jack whistled, and Myfanwy swooped in, settling down in front of him on her haunches and looking at him expectantly, head cocked to one side. "Good girl," Jack said approvingly, scratching an eye ridge. Myfanwy's lids drooped shut in pleasure. "Let's try it one more time."
"I can't believe you're still trying this," Owen said scathingly as Ianto picked up the tree branch again. "It's a dinosaur, for God's sake. It doesn't play fetch."
"Yet," Jack corrected. "It's just a matter of adding the appropriate incentive."
"What incentive?" Owen demanded.
"This." Jack reached into the inside pocket of his coat and pulled out a bar of chocolate. Grabbing Owen's hand, he slapped the bar into it just as Ianto, who'd walked a few dozen steps away, whistled. Myfanwy looked up, interested, and the stick flew right past a startled Owen.
Quick as a flash, Myfanwy shot past Owen, knocking him down as she pounced on the stick. She presented it to Jack, who took it with a grin, then neatly plucked the chocolate out of Owen's slack hand and gulped it down. Owen snatched his hand away from the wickedly-sharp beak and scooted back away from her.
"I told you she could do it, sir," Ianto said comfortably, hands in his pockets as he sauntered up to the other two.
"Yes, you did." Jack clapped Ianto on the shoulder and turned his attention to Myfanwy, who was looking at him eagerly. "Want another try, girl?"
"No way," Owen said abruptly. He lurched to his feet. "Or if you are, I want no part of it. I'm not gonna get accidentally killed because you can't tell the difference between a dog and a lizard." He turned and jogged away, not even bothering to pretend indifference.
Myfanwy watched him go, head cocked to one side again. She made a soft little sound in her throat and turned her eyes to Jack, pleading.
"Oh, all right," Jack said with a sigh, and picked up the stick again. "We're going to need more chocolate, Ianto."
Isabella's prompt was, "Jack and Ianto try to teach Myfanwy a trick (like a dog) and Owen will be the collateral damage." I had FUN with this one!
